As owner and caring Dog Groomer at Mike's Mobile Mutts, my journey with dogs began when I was 12 years old. I began my career at a pet shop owned by a family friend. At the age of 14 I worked at a kennel in Princeton NJ where I cared for dogs until I began my apprenticeship as a Dog Trainer. After graduating High School, I became the Kennel Manager and full time trainer. The last 5 years of my employment, I was doing all the dog grooming, training and Kennel management. One of my favorite things was going to peoples homes to train there puppies, under the age of 6 months since the kennel where I worked did not offer such a service. I had over 10 years Kennel experience when I knew it was time for a change. Petsmart came knocking and asked me to manage one of their stores. I took the job and liked it at first, but something was missing...I really missed the dogs. After my wife and I had a second child we moved to PA. Opening Mike's Mobile Mutts was the best thing that I have ever done. The best part about my job is seeing the smiles on people's faces and...the smiles on their dogs.
